Located at the Long Beach - beachfront, it's about 30 steps from the terras into the ocean. The diving school is fantastic, with local guides offering a wide variety of packages and usually teaching in Malay, English, German and French. The accommodations are pretty basic hostel beds and private rooms with beach flair. The staff is friendly and accommodating as they are very engaging. It is a fun place to stay, with a good restaurant next door and a couple more down the beach.

The Perhentians are famous for their crystal clear water, sandy beaches, fantastic nature, and breeding grounds for Hawksbill Turtles, Green Sea Turtles and Black Tip Sharks.
